Twitter launches Fleets feature in India, know its specialty
The social networking site Twitter has launched its new feature Fleets in India. India became the third country after Brazil and Italy, where Twitter launched its new feature. Currently, only Android and iOS users in India will be able to use it. Photos or videos shared through this feature will be available only for 24 hours and after that they will disappear automatically.
The specialty of the Fleets feature is that no retweet, likes or comments can be made on the information shared by it. If someone has to comment, then he can send a message in the user's inbox. The fleet will be able to find out which of his followers have seen his fleet.
Twitter has just launched Fleet as a test. It will be available for Android and iOS users only. If someone follows you, then your fleet will always remain on top in its timeline, so it will not miss your information shared.
Manish Maheshwari, MD, Twitter India said, India is important for Twitter because we are one of the fastest growing audience markets globally. Through its use in India, we will learn what is the change in the way Indians connect on Twitter by breaking a new way of communication.
